Zoning Hearing Signs

The Liberty Township Planning & Zoning Department places a zoning hearing notification sign (shown to the right) on each property that is subject to a zoning hearing approximately a week prior to the scheduled meeting as a courtesy to nearby residents and businesses. The sign indicates that the property is subject to a public hearing before either the Board of Zoning Appeals or the Zoning Commission. Please see the list of upcoming cases below to verify the request for the property in which the sign is located. Board of Zoning Appeals - October 9, 2018

  • BZA18-026: Shaun McFarland is requesting a Variance under Section 4.12.4(2) of the Liberty Township Zoning Resolution to request approval for a reduced side yard building setback from a required 10’ minimum setback to 1’ 3” from the property line. The subject property is located at 6603 Alana Place, Parcel ID# D2020-230.000-044.
  • BZA18-027: Hutsenpiller Contractors, Inc. is requesting a Variance under Section 9.2.3(3) to install 2’x8’ digital LED screen as part of the proposed monument sign; Variances under Section 9.4.5(1) to construct a monument sign that exceeds the 8’ maximum height and 48 square feet in size; and Section 7.6.3(4)(a) to park vehicles on a gravel surface. The subject properties are located at 5763 Princeton Glendale Road, Parcel # D2020-030.000-025.

  • ZC18-023: Applicant – Liberty Land Company, LLC is requesting a Major Modification to the approved Carriage Hill Preliminary PUD Plan per Section 4.11.3 (6)(d)(i)(C) regarding changes to the allocation of land uses, and Final PUD Review for Section 23 of the Carriage Hill Subdivision. Section 23 is a total of 11.745 acres, which includes 6.596 acres of open space and 19 single-family residential lots.   • ZC18-024: Applicant – Liberty Land Company, LLC is requesting a Major Modification to the approved Carriage Hill Preliminary PUD Plan per Section 4.11.3 (6)(d)(i)(C) regarding changes to the allocation of land uses, and Final PUD Review for Section 23 of the Carriage Hill Subdivision.
