When & where are Zoning Hearings?


  • Board of Trustees: 6:00 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month.
  • Zoning Commission: 6:00 p.m. on the 3rd Monday of each month.
  • Board of Zoning Appeals: 6:00 p.m. on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
All meetings are held at Liberty Township's New Administration & Police Substation Facility located at 5021 Winners Circle Drive. 


Zoning Hearing Signs

The Liberty Township Planning & Zoning Department places a zoning hearing notification sign (shown to the right) on each property that is subject to a zoning hearing approximately a week prior to the scheduled meeting as a courtesy to nearby residents and businesses. The sign indicates that the property is subject to a public hearing before either the Board of Zoning Appeals or the Zoning Commission. Please see the list of upcoming cases below to verify the request for the property in which the sign is located. Board of Zoning Appeals - November 9, 2021

 
  • BZA21-016: DNM Development LLC is requesting a variance from Section 4.12.4(2) and Table 4.12-B of the Liberty Township Zoning Resolution for a reduced side yard setback for a 3,200 square foot barn from the minimum 50’ to 31.7’ in a R-1 zoning district. The subject property is located at 6481 Princeton Glendale Road, Parcel ID# D2010-002.000-013.

  • ZC21-026:  Applicant – Liberty Retail Management LLC., is requesting a Major Modification to the Liberty Center Preliminary PUD Plan for a revision to the allowed uses in the B-PUD section of Liberty Center. The subject property located north of Liberty Way, Parcel # D2020-311.000-008 Section 13, Town 3, Range 3, Liberty Township, Butler County, Ohio. Tabled by Applicant
  • ZC21-032:  Applicant – Hen-Jur, LLC., is requesting a Final PUD Review for approval of the development of Veterans Blvd., an access drive from Cox Road and the mounding along the east property line for a mixed use development on 87.47 acre. The subject property is located at 8000 Liberty Way, Parcel #D2010-009.000-007 Section 07, Town 3, Range 3, Liberty Township, Butler County, Ohio.
