Information Regarding On-Going Road Projects

Stay up-to-date with the latest summer road construction news around Liberty Township.

  • Yankee Road began a major upgrade on Wednesday, July 5. The road will be widened to add capacity and smooth out traffic flow, thereby enhancing motorist safety. The project will involve multiple phases with various closures, so local commuters will want to pay close attention. All work is scheduled for completion by early next summer, weather permitting.   • All four legs of the Kyles Station/Mauds Hughes Road intersection closed for drainage and pavement improvements on Monday, July 10. The intersection is tentatively scheduled to reopen the week of July 31.
    Detour for Kyles Station Road: Eastbound Kyles Station road traffic will detour south on Ohio 747, east on Millikin Road, and north on Yankee Road to Kyles Station. Westbound traffic will reverse this route.
    Detour for Mauds Hughes Road: Northbound Mauds Hughes Road traffic will detour west on Millikin Road, north on LeSourdsville West Chester Road, and east on Hankins Road to Mauds Hughes. Eastbound traffic will reverse this route.
