Code Enforcement OfficerUnder supervision of the Director of Planning & Zoning this position will be responsible for enforcing the Liberty Township Zoning Resolution, updating the Zoning Resolution as needed, reviewing site and construction plans, conducting field inspections of new and existing construction and properties to ensure compliance with the Liberty Township Zoning Resolution and all applicable codes and regulations and administering the nuisance abatement process. Serves as staff representative to the Township Board of Zoning Appeals at regular meetings; prepares and processes all cases filed before the Township Board of Zoning Appeals, coordinates review with other government agencies, and maintains accurate records of all cases.
