Fire Station 112 Relocation Project

May 2020 update: Liberty Township Fire Department Fire Station 112 has officially moved to its new location at 7655 Princeton Road. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on May 4, 2021 commemorating the opening of the station.

August 2020 update: The project broke ground in March and anticipated completion is Spring 2021.

August 2019 update: Demolition is set to take place this month to remove the existing structure at 7655 Princeton Road. The Township continues to work on the future station's design with local architecture MSA. 

January 2019 update: In late December 2018, Liberty Township Board of Trustees closed on the land purchase at 7655 Princeton Road. The Township will continue working with local architecture firm MSA to design the new station. Stay tuned for more updates! View preliminary design. 

August 2018 update: The Liberty Township Board of Trustees approved a resolution to enter into a contract for an option to purchase property located at 7655 Princeton Road. The Township has 90 - 120 days to perform due diligence items before finalizing the purchase of the property. Due diligence includes: surveying, environmental work, soil testing and zoning. A formal design of the facility will begin after the property purchase is finalized.
