Helpful Township Resources
Looking for information regarding things such as road maintenance and street light outages? The Township's website has a variety of helpful resources to help assist with resident inquiries.
Resident Complaint Form: The Liberty Township Planning & Zoning Department responds to nuisance complaints, including tall grass, weeds, garbage, refuse or other debris in yards, in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 505.87. Complaints may be made by filling out the Resident Complaint Form. Liberty Township operates on a complaint-only basis.
Road Maintenance Report: Residents may easily report road maintenance issues on the Township's website. These issues may include: roadkill report, damaged mailbox, graffiti and sidewalks. Report an issue here.
Street Light Outage: Township street lights are maintained by Duke Energy. Street light outages may be reported to Duke Energy here.

Public Hearing Notice
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Liberty Township, Butler County, Ohio Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 6 p.m. at the Liberty Township Administration Building, 5021 Winners Circle Drive, Liberty Township, Butler County, Ohio, for the following cases described as follows:
ZC26-006: Abby Jacobs is requesting Final PUD Plan for a Flying Aces Car Wash on a 1.34-acre lot. The subject property is located at the southeast corner of Veterans Boulevard and Reagan Way; Parcel D2020-338.000-013; Section 7, Town 3, Range 3, Liberty Township, Butler County, Ohio.
ZC26-007: Rick Seitz is requesting a Zoning Map Amendment from R-1 (Suburban Residence District) to R-PUD (Residential Planned Unit Development District) for a 100.7836-acre lot and a Preliminary PUD Plan containing 191 single-family lots. The subject property is located at 5019 Yankee Road; Parcel D2010-020.000-003; Section 22, Town 3, Range 3, Liberty Township, Butler County, Ohio. After the conclusion of the hearing, the matter will be submitted to the Liberty Township Board of Trustees.

The Liberty Township Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 6 p.m. at the Liberty Township Administration Building (5021 Winners Circle Drive) for the following cases described as follows:
ZC26-001: Dilip Bearelly is requesting a Major Modification to the Final PUD Plan to amend the product type from attached two-unit buildings to detached single-unit buildings on the remaining eight (8) undeveloped lots. The subject property is located at 7200 Heritage Springs Drive, Parcel D2010-009.000-019; Section 7, Town 3, Range 3; Liberty Township, Butler County, Ohio.
ZC26-004: Jonathan Wocher is requesting a Zoning Map Amendment from B-2 (General Business District) to B-PUD (Business Planned Unit Development) for a 10.2201-acre site and a Preliminary PUD Plan for the Jain Center of Cincinnati & Dayton. The subject properties are located at 6798 Cincinnati Dayton Road; Parcels D2010-003.000-045 & D2010-003.000-046; Section 13, Town 3, Range 3; Liberty Township, Butler County, Ohio.
