The 16.5 acre-park contains 2.2 acres of natural land, with almost 1 mile of paved path around and through the park (4290 feet). The outer circle around the soccer fields is a half mile and is marked with concrete markers every tenth of a mile. The park also has two picnic shelters and two separate playgrounds.

Located on the west side of Yankee Road behind the Lakota Family YMCA, Liberty Park was donated to the Township by Greg Amend and Carlos Todd
Liberty Township and Lakota Sports Organization (LSO) use the park a great deal for community events and youth soccer. The Township holds an Easter Egg Hunt, 5K run and Fall Festival at the park each year. LSO runs the community's youth soccer program. There are also two shelters available for rental.
