Mailbox Damaged

In the event your mailbox is damaged...please review the road maintenance responsibilities to identify which entity to contact. If you believe the damage was caused by a Liberty Township snow plow, please see below our mailbox replacement policy. Call the Liberty Township Public Works Department at 513-759-7585 to report a damaged mailbox, but please understand during inclement weather you may need to leave a message and someone will contact you after the weather event has passed.

Mailbox Replacement Policy

Effective November 16, 2022, during snow season, residents' mailboxes can be damaged by Township vehicles as a result of the Township's efforts to clear roadways. The Liberty Township Board of Trustees approved a resolution to amend Resolution 2009-048 establishing a mailbox replacement policy.

Any and all mailboxes damaged shall be replaced with a standard size black metal mailbox placed on a treated pine or cedar 4 inches by 4 inches post designed for the purpose of supporting the mailbox, not to exceed $80 in total value.
